Bunny Run 5k

General Information

Bunny Run 5K will be a local run or walk that will work to raise funds and collect items (puppy food and kitten food) for Friends of North Augusta Animals (FONAA). Come join Run the Tangents Timing on March 28, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. to give thanks through running and giving back to the community!

Please note that there are no refunds and there will be a 30 minute weather delay (if needed).

START/FINISH
The 5k will start and finish at the Sharon Jones Amphitheater (1001 Center St., N. Augusta, SC 29841) and will continue onto the N. Augusta Greenway. This route will be paved.

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Online registration will remain open right up until 5 minutes before race time. Race shirts are guaranteed to everyone who registers by 11:59 p.m. on February 27, 2026. Extra shirts (if any) will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Packet pickup will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Fleet Feet Augusta, 229 Furys Ferry Road, Augusta on Friday March 27th and race morning starting at 7 a.m.

Registration prices

5K without a shirt are $20 through race day
5K with a shirt is $35 through 2/27/2026 $35 from 2/28/2026 through race day
Virtual runner registration is $35 through 8 a.m. on race day

Note: All runners who register by February 27, 2026, will be guaranteed to receive an official race shirt! Extra shirts (if any) will be distributed on a first come-first serve basis until they are gone.

Awards
Age Groups are 14 and Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 + male and female plus top 3 overall. Awards will be determined closer to the event date.

Parking
Parking will be available on the roads near the Amphitheater or in the parking garage.

Friends of North Augusta Animals' mission is to collaborate with local governments, citizens and rescue organizations to act as an advocate on behalf of North Augusta animals. We aim to provide resources and supporting services in order to facilitate their adoption. We seek to engage the hearts, hands and minds of our community to bring about an end to the disposal of abandoned local animals.
